Joe's CrabShack 3rd Year
On Friday morning, I got a call from my good friend Catlin Reed who told me that Bodyworks Kids Club (where I used to work) needed some more people to work mornings. Apparently, both the people that I worked with that I had personal differences with are now both gone. So I went ahead down and chatted with the new manager and the general manager at 82nd and I start at that kids club tomorrow. This week will be a little hectic, because of Spring Break camps, but most weeks will be about 15-20 hours I think. But I am looking forward to it and it will be good for Felicity to be out of the house a bit everyday!
Last night we had our good friend Able over to visit. Able is one of Justin's classmates who has moved to Amarillo for 3rd and 4th year. We haven't seen him for a while and were glad to have him over. We made a great Kalua Pork, Rice and Pasta Salad dinner and it was all wonderful! We decided to see what Collin would do with the Rice and he loved it. But he made a very big mess. Since it was sticky rice, he wasn't coming off. So we turned the faucet on in the sink and plopped him down into it. Turns out, it is my new favorite place to give Collin a bath. He loved it and was completely enthralled with the faucet and the sprayer. We decided to snap some pics. Here are those!

I'm pretty sure that Mom's last meal with Dad was at Joe's Crab Shack. That makes your tradition apropos on another level, as well.
This is a great tradition. I think traditions a wonderful, and they are powerful ways to pay homage to powerful memories.
